Oba Lekan Balogun has been handed the staff of office as the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadan by the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde. Naija News reports that the new monarch’s coronation ceremony was held in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
According to reports, the ceremony was officially declared open at exactly 11.14 am with the recitation of the National Anthem, Oyo State Anthem as well as Ibadan Anthem.
